To Pluck a Flower

I see a Datura Flower
hanging from the rafters.
Her Beauty,
I See,
Clear with my Heart.
A Gentle Glow
as a
Tahoe Sunset.
Naturally,
I want to Claim Her
for Myself.
Rob Her of Her
mother and root
for,
Her Radiance
will provide
Great Company.
though,
once Claimed for Ones Self,
a Flower's Radiance Runs Dim,
the Sun Burns Dry,
and Company Fleas.
A Pebble
no longer Shimmers
once it is Removed from the stream
and dries under the sun.
hence,
God not Possess-able,
merely

Befriend-able.
